Justice for the 21 Memorial
Remembering the Victims of the Birmingham Pub Bombings
The victims of the Birmingham pub bombings are honored and remembered in the heart of Birmingham every day.
One poignant tribute is found at Birmingham New Street Station, where the “Trees” memorial stands as a powerful symbol of remembrance. Each leaf on the trees is delicately engraved with the name of one of the 21 innocent lives lost in the tragedy. This living memorial serves as a daily reminder of the lives taken too soon and the enduring impact of that fateful night. To find out more about the memorial and how important this is to the J4T21 family and the individuals of Birmingham please watch the short video below.
Through these tributes, Birmingham ensures that the memories of the victims are never forgotten and that their legacy lives on in the city they called home.
Also there is a plague and memorial in the grounds of St Philips Cathedral in the city centre where all the names are also listed of those that were lost.
